What a great activity for guests to enjoy at your party!
This vibrantly coloured pinata is approx. 47cm H x 48cm W x 9cm D (7cm D at the green filling part) and would be great for a tropical luau party.
The pinata is made of cardboard and tissue paper. There is an access hole (approx. 4cm x 3cm) in the top of the pinata for filling with goodies and a plastic loop for hanging.
You may like to fill the pinata will fun size chocolates and wrapped lollies, small toys, or a combination of these. The Party Concierge sells a 64 pack of pinata filler toys and a whacking stick (see attached photos).
Party guests take turns having a set number of whacks each at the pinata with a stick (may be selected for inclusion as part of the purchase of the pinata) to try and see who can break it open to release the goodies inside. It generally takes quite a bit of whacking to break open a hanging pinata – which makes for entertaining viewing! You may consider laying the pinata on the ground (preferably outside to prevent damage to inside floors/furniture) rather than hanging it to make it easier to whack and bust open for young party guests.
